Seriously Dogs is covered by Public Liability Insurance and Care, Custody and Control Insurance (including accidental damage insurance).
I hope that the following information will help to explain exactly what this covers.
Public Liability Insurance covers Seriously Dogs against being sued by a member of the public for damage to property or injury, and includes legal liability for dogs in our care. This cover also includes cover for loss of keys entrusted to us by you.
Care, custody and control insurance covers us against being sued by you, the owner, for negligence (i.e. our lead breaks and the dog is injured). It has also been extended to include accidental damage cover.
It is still important that you keep your own insurance for your dog up to date in order to cover every eventuality.
Although your dog will not be walked in a group with other dogs, it is still important to keep your dogs vaccinations up to date and to consider having them vaccinated against kennel cough.
All dogs in our care must be microchipped and wear an id tag in order to comply with the law.
